This Category never seems to fail on the impressiveness of what people try to do to save a buck.... That is until their house goes up in flames.. People!! Listen up! Electrical Code Violations are not worth losing your home when something arcs out one too many times and burst into flames during the middle of the night. The most devastating part is you decided to decline the interconnected carbon combo smoke detector installation and were never notified in the night when the fire began. National Electrical Codes, Licensed Journeyman, and Master electricians exist for a reason. I'm so tired of walking into what appears to be a nice house on the surface and then once upon further investigation the electrical is an absolute nightmare. Why? Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that an unqaulified builder and their flunkys did all the work and charged $800,000.00 for a house that was literally piecemealed together. Whether its a super poorly built house, or just the homeowners cob job... Electrical Code Violations are not worth losing your home or family over due to an electrical fire....Wake up people!!
